Built by people who thought cola was getting worse, not better.
Tundra started as a way of proving that a mass-market drink didn't have to taste like an afterthought.
A rented unit, a lot of flat batches.
Elena Marsh founded Tundra in 2016 out of a rented unit outside Manchester, convinced that most cola went flat in the fridge because it was carbonated after the fact rather than brewed cold from the start.
It took eleven months and a lot of unusable batches to get a formula that held its fizz to the last mouthful without leaning on extra sugar to mask it.
What we won't compromise on
Single water source
Every can traces back to the same protected glacier-fed aquifer. We've never swapped it out for volume.
Cold-chain, always
No stage of production or transport lets the product sit above 4°C for longer than it has to.
No shortcuts on sugar
Real cane sugar, at a level we've never quietly reduced or swapped for a cheaper sweetener.
How we got here
2016, Manchester
Tundra founded in a rented production unit, testing cold-brew carbonation by hand.
2019, Cairngorms
Secured exclusive access to a single glacier-fed aquifer as our permanent water source.
2022, Aluminium switch
Moved the entire can line to 100% recycled aluminium.
2025, National cold-chain
Extended refrigerated logistics to every stockist we ship to, with no exceptions.
